As a part of our curriculum it is important that all of our students learn to work together, both inside and outside of the classroom. To help this process, we organised a team building day for our whole secondary school in October. Students worked in house teams on a range of different physical and mental challenges. Students learned to balance their competitive instincts with supporting each other and working together to solve a range of problems, relying on the different strengths of the members of their teams. During the day the students enjoyed a picnic lunch outside and at the end we celebrated the achievements of all of the different groups who were taking part.
As a separate event our Sixth Form students also took part in a team building event at Madrid Laser Combat. Students competed in teams in several rounds of laser tag and archery tag. Everyone enjoyed the event and it was great to see students working together and displaying their communication and leadership skills.
