This last term at St. George Madrid, our students in Year 5’s became entrepreneurs and started their own chocolate businesses!⠀
After inventing an idea for a new chocolate product, they used teamwork to create an attractive brand that would encourage customers to buy their product. These St. George primary students had to create a brand name, logo, and slogan and think about the packaging of the chocolate using nets of 3D shapes. To advertise the product, they created a billboard poster in English and Spanish and then devised and filmed a TV advert.
At the end of the project, the teams had to pitch their business ideas to investors from “Mercadona” and “El Corte Inglés”, who were represented by our Year 12 International Baccalaureate students. They had to use all their knowledge from their business course to see who had created the most appealing brand design, give feedback and find improvement points. It was a tough choice!
