At St. George, we are proud of all of our students, as they are the most precious thing
in the school. When they leave us, we are always keen to know how they are getting on, following their dreams while studying in different universities both in Spain and worldwide. That’s why we wanted to share some of their stories in ´Meet our Alumni´.
Alicia Garcia Likhatcheva graduated in 2019 and followed a European Studies course with a specialisation in International Relations at The Hague University in the Netherlands.
She remembers her student life with us as a hard but necessary journey for her academic development. «The strong support of my teachers helped me grow and improve, as well as feeling comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone.» Some of her best memories were the special activity and charity days. «I still remember the days when the school organised days of activities. We brought bakes to sell and donated the money to charity, and we ate them with relish. We spent hours with the teachers doing scavenger hunts and throwing water balloons at the target.»
«I would like to send the current St George students lots of energy and enthusiasm, hoping that they remember school for what it really is; a way through which to learn, while at the same time growing as a person. Knowledge is a privilege to which not everybody has access; it is important to take every drop of every opportunity!»
Thank you for sharing your experience at our school Alicia, we are sure you will achieve all your dreams! More stories from our Alumni to come!
