On International Women’s Day, pupils and staff at St. George Madrid chose Malala Yousafzai as the new Yellow House representative. Malala was an advocate for women’s rights in her native Pakistan during a very dangerous time of war and political unrest – she won the Nobel peace Prize in 2014 and now lives in the UK, where she continues to study and promote education for all.
