“He that loves reading has everything within his reach”.
What a better way of making our students love it than with the activities that they prepared to celebrate The Book Week at St. George.
A week of games and fun activities embracing reading in which we had the chance to see our oldest students throwing themselves into the youngest kids sharing with them fragments of their favourite readings.
The Book Day, everything revolved around the amazing costume parade in which teachers and students imagination remained free to become the characters of their favourite books and novels.
To end this journey beyond imagination provided by reading, parents, teachers and students participated in a hilarious “Extreme Reading” photography contest in which participants captured out of the ordinary moments for reading a book and then shared their pictures with all their classmates.
They say that the memories that a book leaves in us are more important than the book itself. We bet that after this week, we all love reading a little bit more.
